FreeLLMAPI is headed to the global AI Tinkerers newsletter

Two weeks ago we announced that our founder Tashfeen was taking Free LLM API to AI Tinkerers Dublin. The demo happened, the room was full, and it went better than we hoped.

The five minute deep dive walked through how the router actually decides: every model draws a number, the highest draw gets the request, and yesterday's results slowly stop counting. That is Thompson sampling in one slide, and it is why the router keeps betting on what works while still testing the rest.

Then on Friday an email arrived. FreeLLMAPI has been selected for the AI Tinkerers Community Spotlights newsletter, going out on 10 August to tens of thousands of people who have attended AI Tinkerers events around the world.
Their words, not ours, on why it was picked:
- An open source router that uses Thompson sampling to optimize LLM API costs and latency
- A practical, free prototyping tool with a fully accessible GitHub repository
- Strong community feedback on its immediate utility for developers building AI apps

The best part of the night was not the stage though. It was the science fair afterwards: laptops open, real questions, people wiring the router into their prototypes on the spot.

Thanks to the AI Tinkerers Dublin organizers and to Toast for hosting. If you want the thing everyone was asking about, it is free at freellmapi.co. And if you are in Dublin for the next demo night, come find us.
